Course Info
This course has a lot of climbing and isn’t to be taken casually. This is a tough faultline course. Be prepared!
Starting at the disused bowling green enjoy 500m of road to spread you out before celebrating the amazing trails in Waimapihi, one of the jewels in Wellington’s trail crown. After this enjoy the urban maze of trails through southern Wellington, past the zoo, then North up to Mount Victoria. From here enjoy the macrocarpa and pine trails until your final journey along the waterfront to your rightful place in Wellington Folklore. 728m of climbing. Months of preparation. An entire lifetime of memories. The 24km Challenge is a biker’s delight and the views, trails and finish line smiles will leave you wanting more. A fantastic introduction to mountain biking anyone can participate in that will give you the bug to join in the 50km next year.
